We have a part-time opportunity for a Community Services Associate to join our dedicated team to help in meeting the educational, recreational and social needs of our assisted living and independent residents.

Afternoon and evening hours are available – We’d like one weekend day to be a part of your weekly schedule.

New Horizons at Marlborough is an upscale, not-for-profit retirement community serving 400 seniors on a beautiful 40-acre suburban campus. Community Services Associate will:

MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY!
Maintain frequent positive interaction with residents and their families.
Set up and Conduct activities to meet the educational and recreational interests of residents.
Be creative, energetic, upbeat, patient, compassionate and professional at all times.
Assist residents in their pursuit of a fully satisfying residency and a sense of well-being.
Accompany and assist residents on field trips in our New Horizons bus.
Implement the Tender Loving Care (TLC) program to acclimate new residents to their new home and the community at large.
Respond to and resolve questions, concerns or issues from resident/family members.
Foster a spirit of fun and excitement in all activities. Actively encourage residents to participate in varied activities, rallying with the community to encourage increased awareness and participation in activities programs.
Including, but not limited to, as a CSA, support dining services during meals and provide coverage for the apothecary and break coverage for the main front desk.
As a team player, maintain communications with other departments.
Act as a liaison on the residents’ behalf between the residents and their families and New Horizons
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift
COVID-19 considerations:
All employed must be fully vaccinated against COVID and the regular flu. Masks are worn while on duty.

Ability to commute/relocate:

Marlborough, MA 01752: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:

Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
